Thank you all very much for your support and loyalty year after year. This year marks the 10th anniversary of our conference in Dubai. What starts as a simple idea 10 years ago proved, without a doubt, to be a success beyond compare. This extended to the Asia-Pacific region three years ago. On 04-05 December 2015, the 3rd Asia-Pacific, CAD/CAM & Digital Dentistry Int’l Conference will take place at Suntec Singapore.
CAD/CAM has been an important part of our world in many aspects since the 1950s and in the 1980s has been integrated in dentistry. It is quite surprising to witness how fast the field of CAD/CAM and digital dentistry is developing. A quick glance at the last IDS in Koln, Germany and IDEM in Singapore show not only the extraordinary improvements to this technology, but the vast number of manufacturers that are joining the market as well.
The growth of CAD/CAM dentistry alongside new technology, materials and equipment has seen a rapid integration into both dental offices and laboratories. Without a doubt, digital technology is becoming essential for every dental practice and laboratory. The question is: are we prepared to keep up to date with this growing industry, and are we able to implement this pool of information in our practices without the proper expertise? This will be the main challenge for us.
In December, Singapore will become a showcase for everything related to digital dentistry when the 3rd Asia-Pacific, CAD/CAM & Digital Dentistry International Conference opens its doors to dental professionals from all over the Asia Pacific region on 04-05 December 2015.
10 years ago when the Middle East market was still in its early stages we started the first CAD/CAM & Digital Dentistry International Conference with enthusiasm and high self-confidence in this exciting field. That is why we are confident that we will be able to transfer this concept to the Asia Pacific region successfully.
Similar to Dubai, Singapore has become a commercial hub for the entire region. For this reason, we would like to welcome all dental professionals for the third time in Asia - Pacific to the largest annual international event focusing entirely on Digital Dentistry, which will be held in Singapore. We are very excited to organize such an event, which has built extremely important bridges in our dental team-dentists, dental technicians, and industry. In spite of our growing size, we have tried hard to maintain the family atmosphere at each conference and to keep our "Teamwork for excellent dentistry".
