About CAPP

Centre for Advanced Professional Practices (CAPP) was founded in 2005 in Dubai, UAE with the sole purpose of delivering excellence in Dental Continuing Medical Education in the Middle East and beyond. CAPP is an American Dental Association (ADA) C.E.R.P Recognised Provider, specialising in Continuing Medical Education (CME) and Continuing Professional Development (CPD) dental education programmes.

For the past 13 years CAPP has facilitated over 594 CME programmes educating 89,736 international participants. Ever since 2005 CAPP has experienced year-on-year growth and in 2017 alone CAPP educated 18,653 international dental professionals.

With the opening of CAPP Asia in 2012, the company’s reach has expanded to the Asia-Pacific region and beyond. CAPP Asia main focus in the region is the Asia-Pacific Edition of the CAD/CAM & Digital Dentistry Conference & Exhibition held in Singapore on a bi-annual basis.

CAPP is the owner of the Dental Tribune Middle East & Africa, print and digital publication. CAPP is delivering six print editions annually to over 21,000 dental professionals (126,000 copies annually) in the Middle East and Africa region and delivers newsletters to over 62,000 active subscribers every two weeks (approx. 1,612,000 e-mail annually). Through its international website, the latest industry news reaches the largest dental community worldwide.

CAPP is the organiser of the two leading dental scientific conferences in the region: CAD/CAM & Digital Dentistry Conference & Exhibition (1st edition in 2005) and Dental Facial Cosmetic International Conference & Exhibition (DFCIC) (1st edition in 2009). Both these conferences are annual events.

CONTINUING DENTAL EDUCATION

CAPP offers over 160 days of hands-on training courses per year across a broad spectrum of subjects. Classes vary in length from one-day seminars and short courses to long-term hands-on courses in Restorative, Aesthetic, Endodontics, Implantology, Lasers leading to Certificates, Diplomas, Fellowships and Master’s Degrees. All programmes are certified from the authorised accreditation entities. Most of CAPP’s training courses are taking place at the CAPP Training Institute located in Dubai, UAE.

mCME SELF INSTRUCTION PROGRAMME

CAPP together with Dental Tribune provides the opportunity with its mCME - Self Instruction Programme, a quick and simple way to meet your continuing education needs. mCME offers the flexibility to work at one’s own pace through the material from any location at any time. The content is international, drawn from the upper echelon of dental medicine, and also presents a regional outlook in terms of perspective and subject matter.
